The Vision
One system to run the whole business, with automatically connected operations and a personalized assistant that combines day-to-day administration with strategic guidance—evolving toward agentic workflows and an experience tailored to each owner.
My contribution
My focus is on developing the product end to end, from the interface and backend to the data model and AI agent. I also meet directly with potential customers to understand how they run their businesses, what they need, and where Unio can help, turning their feedback into practical product decisions.

The problem
Many small food businesses in Argentina still run on a spreadsheet or a paper notebook. Owners we spoke to had little visibility into finances, stock rotation, supplier pricing, or purchase history.
Without a shared source of truth, they had no practical way to analyze the business or see where operations could improve.
The product
Unio brings sales, inventory, purchasing, suppliers, and financial accounts into one system. Each module includes an analytics view that breaks down trends by category, product, and timeframe.
An integrated AI assistant lets owners ask questions about their business in plain language instead of learning how to interpret every chart or report.
Decisions that matter
Work with the tools businesses already use
Small businesses already rely on checkout software and spreadsheets. We designed Unio to bring that information together, starting with file imports and manual entry. This lets the platform deliver value without requiring owners to replace their existing systems. Direct POS connections are the next immediate step, already in development.
Connect business operations through a shared data model
Sales, purchases, inventory, cash flow, recipes, and payments describe different parts of the same business. We built them around a shared data model so operational records feed financial views and analytics consistently. A recorded sale can inform revenue, cash flow, and ingredient consumption through the same underlying data.
Make data imports reviewable and reversible
Importing business data affects more than a table. We built previews, validation, duplicate detection, and traceability into the import flow, with controlled reversals when corrections are needed. Owners can review what will change before applying it and trace imported records back to their source.
Delivery & validation
What’s built
A working web platform covering sales, purchasing, expenses, inventory, financial reporting, suppliers and analytics. File imports and manual entry feed connected operational modules. An AI assistant provides another way to query that information and supports changes through confirmation flows.
What’s been validated
Features are built around business owners’ needs and validated in face-to-face meetings, gathering feedback on what adds value, what doesn’t, and what’s missing. Core workflows have been checked through automated tests and manual end-to-end testing.
What to measure next
Validate with business owners how much time Unio saves consolidating records, whether imported totals consistently match their source systems, and whether owners can answer recurring questions about sales, costs, and cash flow with less manual work. Self-service POS integration and business impact remain to be validated.
